...it's about family	Through Jesus, we enter into a personal relationship with God where we come to know Him as a loving Father. This new relationship brings us into a family where together we learn to experience and express the love of God in healthy ways. This family reaches beyond Kingsburg Covenant Church to all Christians throughout the world. This family reaches across ethnic, gender and social barriers, and we hope to reflect this more and more as we reach out to our community with God's love.
...it's about growing	God wants to communicate with us and empower us to grow up as his children. He does that through His Word, the Bible. The Bible is relevant and practical for daily living. We work hard to connect God's Word to life. God not only gives us His Word, He also gives us Himself in the person of His Spirit. The Holy Spirit convicts, directs, challenges, encourages, and gifts us to make an impact in our world. Here at Kingsburg Covenant Church, we are not satisfied with a head knowledge of spiritual things, we want to live out our spirituality in authentic ways.
...it's about serving	God loves every man, woman and child on the face of this planet. He didn't want us to miss this truth. That's why Jesus came to be with us and die for us. Jesus Himself said that He did not come to be served, but to serve. Jesus in turn sends us into our homes, our neighborhoods, our schools and places of work, our communities and to every people throughout our world. He sends us out to serve people with His love so no one is left behind.
...it's about connecting	We don't see ourselves in isolation from other churches. Covenant means "promise together." We have voluntarily promised to do life and service together with the wider family in Kingsburg and our sister churches in the Evangelical Covenant Church which stretches across the world. Our mission to express God's love to our world is done better when we do it together in the unity that comes from Jesus Christ.
...it's about a freedom	...to major on the majors. We allow for differences in worship style and viewpoints on secondary spiritual issues without allowing our relationships to fall by the wayside.
